You should know how to take care of your tires and rims properly when you are an every day driver You should know how to take care of them without having to need help when you need to change a tire

Every driver that is driving should know or know how to have their tires properly inflated You should always have your tires inflated to where they are needed if not then you will lose gas mileage as up to 0 4 for every pound that you are losing So if you are not keeping your tires inflated the right way then you are going to be losing gas and that isn’t cool at all You will want to be getting everything out of the gas that you have to pay for with your own hard earned money Even though it may be tough to keep up with everything that your car needs done you should at least be able to keep up with tire pressure

You should also take good care of your tires in the winter because they will lose 1 pound of pressure for every drop of 10 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter Even though it may be cold out you still should take care of tires if you want them to still work after winter You should always want to take good care of your car so that you get the best and most out of what you paid for You paid a lot of money for your car so you want to take good care of its feet You might even want to buy it some nice feet so it looks good and doesn’t look bad after winter That should be your present for taking care of the tires you have all winter is getting a new pair in the summer

Properly rotating your tires is good too you will never want to ride too long on a worn out tire Even though it might not sound that bad it is bad if you are always riding on those tires You should just have your front ones rotated to the back or vice versa Whatever drive that your car is you need to take the tires from the drives that are not spinning and if you have all wheel drive then you should just buy new tires every year Even though I do not know much about tires I do know that if you just have 2 wheel drive either front or rear you need to swap them out after 6 months of driving on them If you do not want to switch them then you should just buy new tires and while you are at it just buy new rims as well

Five Carpet Cleaning Methods

According to Kathryn Sellers, spokeswoman for the Carpet and Rug Institute, an industry advocacy organization based in Dalton, Georgia, USA, there are five different carpet cleaning methods in use today: hot water, dry or foam extraction; rotary shampoo and the absorbent pad method

All five work, as long as the person doing the cleaning knows what he s doing, says Ms Sellers

So for those thinking of buying a spray can and hoping for the best, you could be in for a big surprise You need to do a bit more homework

Here is a list of questions you need to answer before you make any Carpet Cleaning decisions:

– How big is the spill/stain?

– Are you going to clean it yourself or call a professional carpet cleaning company?

– Can you clean it by hand or should you use a carpet cleaning machine?

– Steam or Dry cleaning?

– What kind of carpet do you have? Wool, plant fibers, silk, or synthetics

– If you are cleaning your carpet yourself, you must decide which product is best for your particular kind of carpet

Once you have answers to these questions you can devise a plan of action to ensure that your carpets look and smell fresh and new

It is important to clean carpets at least once a year to keep the carpet in good condition Deal with spills as they occur, blotting them up with paper towels or a regular towel Do not rub and scrub the mess from the spill further into the carpet If you have kids or pets, you may want to clean your carpets more often

Carpet Cleaning Hints and Tips

– Don’t ever use bleach when you are cleaning a wool carpet and also don’t clean wool with any heated products or machines

– One of the greatest benefits of using a dry carpet cleaning method is the fact that there are no soapy residues left behind The dry cleaning method uses chemicals to clean the carpet without water After the foam dries or once the powder has set, a powerful vacuum is used to remove the particles of dirt and detergent at the same time

– Home carpet shampooers and the hot water carpet cleaning machines you can rent at the supermarket are only appropriate for carpets that are not heavily soiled Make sure the rental machines are clean Also make sure that you are using the right chemicals for your carpets If the carpets are very soiled or you are not sure, call in professional cleaners

– Most carpet spots are just sticky residue or sweet spills like cola of coffee and don t need any detergent to clean them, just warm ( not hot) water for a rinse and blot with paper towels or a clean regular towel If detergent is used, soap residues may remain in the carpet which would mean the spill area would darken with traffic as particles stick to the soapiness

Several criteria go into determining the kind of car buyer you are Undoubtedly the most important is that you need to bargain from a position of strength, and that you don’t need to budge from your position

The most important is that you need to remember to bargain on the actual, on-road price, which is often a lot more than the quoted price In this price, several costs are not included; once you sit down to negotiate a car purchase, remember that it has to be on the final price Once you have made your offer on a certain price, never come down If the dealer wants to stick to his guns, let him, there’s always the next dealer

Also, make sure you don’t buy cars that are selling like hot cakes This type of car is always an advantage to the seller, and does not give him any need to negotiate, as much as it leaves you with little space for maneuver

Deciding to buy a car is great, but just before walking into the showroom; make sure you have these points in mind, so that you ride out a smarter buyer!

Suzuki has long been an automotive enigma For a company that has been rolling out beautifully crafted superbikes for many years their curious offerings on the car market have bemused many a reviewer not to mention the car buying public

Other brands such as Kia and Hyundai had upped the ante with their greatly improved cars and so it became apparent to Suzuki that they would have to do likewise or face the prospect of getting left behind in the automotive race

It was only a few years ago that the old Suzuki Swift could be found on British roads, usually being driven at about 20mph on the motorway, they were only really popular with cash strapped pensioners who used them pretty much as motorised shopping trolleys

Then we come to the Suzuki Vitara which became the ultimate accessory for the 90′s hairdresser and was generally found in white, in fact I think you could only get them in white Often seen with ridiculously over sized wheels and a distinctly unfunny spare wheel cover on the back which depicted two animals mating, oh dear

Things weren’t much better with Suzuki’s foray into light commercial vehicles with the Suzuki carry (also known as the Bedford or Vauxhall Rascal) What it could actually carry I’m unsure of, but it looked as if it would struggle with much more than the driver on board

All this was to change dramatically however when in 2005 Suzuki hit the ground running with the launch of the all new Swift The Swift had a big press launch in the UK and appeared in TV commercials featuring none other than Cristiano Ronaldo which saw him demonstrating some of his ball skills to some adoring young fans before disappearing in his little Swift

The Swift is essentially a poor man’s Mini but still manages to deliver nippy performance especially the Sport version and is well built and of course costs a lot less than its counterparts The Swift comes with a number of petrol engines plus a diesel engine sourced from Fiat which delivers good fuel economy

The Suzuki Splash was developed with GM who also manufacture the car as the Vauxhall Agila The Splash replaced the Wagon R which was an ill advised name for the British market but as with the Swift the Splash is another good example of a small city car which people are now turning to in their droves I don’t know if this is luck or a very shrewd move by Suzuki to capture this growing market

Suzuki still offers a 4×4 range which consists of the Jimny which is a cheeky little off road vehicle which has been around since the 1970′s The Jimny has been improved and restyled slightly but is still really an imitation Jeep It comes with rigid front and rear axles and switchable four wheel drive as well as a dual ratio transfer gearbox

Curiously the Jimny is only available with a petrol engine in the UK which does not offer amazing fuel economy They are renowned for their reliability and despite its small size the Jimny performs respectably well off road and is unrivalled in the small 4×4 market

The Grand Vitara has been brought up to date and now looks like a far more sensible vehicle than the Vitara of old with the five door version being the most desirable Finally we have the SX4 which is a small urban SUV with the option of four wheel drive should you need it around town Another car closely developed with Fiat but although it is built in Europe the steady hand of Japanese build quality still remains firmly placed on its little shoulder

So there you have it, Suzuki has brought itself to the fore as a supplier of small practical cars that are well placed to succeed in an ever changing market
